A four-time Hayabusa owner, Scar, a staunch Suzuki supporter, bought his first ‘busa in 2001. Since that time, he’s logged well over 150,000 (combined) miles on Suzuki’s flagship superbike.
The success of the Inaugural Busa Stampede (2009) can be directly attributed to Scar’s unwavering commitment to details…and for 2010’s Stampede, you can expect the same level of perfection, across the span of the event.
Scar is a staff-writer for Rider’s Review magazine, authoring the first article to compare the Gen1 and Gen2 ‘busas; (see pg 28) has tested and reviewed for publication many after-market products, and has written and published a cache of highly detailed SoCal ride routes for a variety of skill-set riders, as well.
A resident of Southern California for 25 years, he has had the opportunity to learn all the best mountain/canyon passes and has introduced countless new friends to some of the best riding the US has to offer.
Scar’s passion for riding places him squarely on the pedestal of High Mileage ‘Ho; having logged near well over 70,000 miles on his 2008, “Wasabi,” thus far; arguably the most miles on any Gen2 ‘busa in existence. Outside his motorcycle passion, he is President of Business Development for a globally-distributed manufacturing firm, headquartered in Phoenix.
